It’s another Wednesday, another breakdown of my trading, but first lets talk about my work for a little bit. Illinois is opening back up, as far as restaurants go at least, so things at work at picking up. I found out last week that my back is just as messed up as it was whether or not it is bothering me in the moment. One large 300 piece delivery and all the repetitive motion and I was hurting all weekend. I did bounce back fairly quickly this time and I’m using my back brace everytime we unload, but I feel like its really a band-aid solution. I am also no longer thrilled about my payscale. First they try to keep it a secret, I’ve seen the actual pay structure twice since I’ve been there, it’s overly complicated and how your pay is laid out on your actual paycheck makes it hard to see if you were paid what you were expecting to be paid. And we got into a situation because we are paid piece/mile that we actually we making less money for working longer even though we had a raise on our piece pay. I feel like I can deal with a lot of B.S.; working more for less money isn’t something I can tolerate very well. The last thing I am going to bring up is the attitude towards team drivers. I am not sure if it is an industry thing or not; my partner argues with management about our home time a lot and the way they focus on logged time instead of the time we spend in the truck bothers me. I feel like they should respect the fact that off duty time in the truck is still time at work. I’m not looking to get paid for that time, but a little more consideration of it when you plan my dispatches would be nice

As you can tell I am preparing to change jobs, starting the search at least and I am preparing my spiel. I am a little disappointed I didn’t hit the 2 year mark, but I’m close. Anyway on to the trades; IBM is already bouncing back, that is giving me more confidence in the system. In the Taxable I am just staying with the $26 call on HPQ for no real reason other than once it hits ITM i’ll have a +7% gain and I don’t really need that big of a gain. I also decided to diversify a little bit and bought into 4 of the 5 Rule Breaker picks for January. The only reason I didn’t buy the last one was I was short on funds. So I bought 1 share each of TDOC, SEDG, SBUX, TEAM and will be adding a share of AAPL. Now buying solely on the recommendation of others is a really bad Idea, but I’m also looking at the time I have to put into it verus the risk of bad advice and right now I just need the diversification…. I realized how stupid that was and redid my holdings based on my stock choices and now I have roughly 25% of my Taxable account in just holdings. KR, AFL, PM, CAH, and BBY. I will have to work out a plan to acquire more stocks but I’d like to keep my holding around 5% I’ll go into more details later.

Over in the Options IRA things are already looking better. IBM dragging it down about $100 still, not really a big deal. I was assigned 100 shares of IBM at $128 at the beginning of the week, it is currently sitting down $382. I’ve already collected $256.69 on the position, which includes $6.35 from another $128 call for this week. I played it safe and in this account and it is turning around nicely. I also sold another $29 call on T for $41.35 it is sitting ITM, just barely; and I sold a $46 put on XOM for $63.35. Altogether I collected $111.05 in options premiums this week which is right around what I was hoping for. EPD was assigned as well, and it had $100 4.88%) in growth that option was taken last year so no premiums were counted for that.

Finally the Rollover account, nothing big to report. I took a $122 Call on IBM since my breakeven in the Rollover was a lot lower and it is currently ITM. I collected another $40.35 in premiums from that and $80.35 from a $53.50 call on ADM. $120.70 from options premiums added to the account and i’m pretty happy with where it is sitting right now.

That’s all I got. Friday I will try and due a January review, we will see if I can get that out or not.
