I have my first losing week for the Taxable account, the IRAs are creeping up to the $50K mark, and I’m still working on PCSs. It’s been an interesting week so let’s dive in.
I got overwhelmed trying to manage my PCS mistakes. I was all over the place. So I ended up taking a loss for this week to clear out some of the PCS that I didn’t have confidence in and was just struggling to keep up with. Several were closed for a total loss of $129, that included the MSFT that was actually following the strategy, I made $2 from that but I needed the capital to get back to where I wanted to be. I sold a 2 GOOG PCS for $38 each to help offset the losses, and Sold a $21.5 Put on EPD for another $2. All of that just so I can be sitting at -$51 for the week. By best estimates I am still up for the month, and I can still have a pretty average month if I just take it easy the rest of the month. EDIT: I made a mistake selling off my GOOG PCSs, I sold them off for $80 instead of $8 so I am now negative for the month:
